Thanksgiving Night of Worship
Worship Center
Gratitude is interwoven through the entire Biblical narrative and we simply find ourselves in the midst of it as we wait for Jesus' return. In the scriptures, when God moves, the people give thanks. When Paul was imprisoned, he praised God. When David felt God was hiding His face from him, he chose still to give thanks. When Mary was told she would bear the Messiah, she chose to sing a song of praise. When Jesus taught the disciple to remember His body and blood through communion, He taught them to give thanks. So- this Thanksgiving week, no matter what we face, let's take time to gather and to echo these themes of scripture as we thank God for what He's done, what He's doing in our midst, and what He will do.
