Lead Pastor Austin Adams
Austin is a third-generation pastor who began following Jesus and discovered his calling to ministry at a young age. He earned a B.A. in Biblical Studies from Moody Bible Institute, an M.Div. from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and is currently pursuing a D.Min. from Wheaton College.
In 2024, he stepped into the role of lead pastor with enthusiasm, eager to use his gifts in preaching, leading, and shepherding. His vision for Calvary is to be a gospel-centered, deeply formed, and missionally engaged church.
Austin is married to Emily, and together they have two biological sons, Wyatt and Bennett. They are also in the process of adopting their foster son, Michael. Having lived in Chicago for sixteen years, Austin is a devoted fan of the Bears and the Cubs. :)
