June 2021, Calvary Church Big Creek experienced major flooding on the campus and in the church building after the surrounding area received a major amount of rain causing a nearby lake reservoir to overflow. The entire church community has come together to clean up the building and grounds so repair work can begin which is estimated over $100,000.00.
