Opening Worship Lyrics:

There's Nothing That Our God Can't Do

Verse

Just one word, You calm the storm that surrounds me

Just one word, the darkness has to retreat

Just one touch, I feel the presence of heaven

Just one touch, my eyes were opened to see

My heart can’t help but believe

Chorus

There’s nothing that our God can’t do

There’s not a mountain that He can’t move

Oh praise the name that makes a way

There’s nothing that our God can’t do

Verse

Just one word, You heal what’s broken inside me

Just one word and you revive every dream

Just one touch, I feel the power of heaven

Just one touch, my eyes were opened to see

My heart can’t help but believe

Chorus

There’s nothing that our God can’t do

There’s not a mountain that He can’t move

Oh praise the name that makes a way

There’s nothing that our God can’t do

There’s nothing that our God can’t do

There’s not a prison wall He can’t break through

Oh praise the name that makes a way

There’s nothing that our God can’t do

Bridge

I will believe for greater things

There’s no power like the power of Jesus

Let faith arise, let all agree

There’s no power like the power of Jesus

Blessed Be Your Name

Verse

Blessed be Your name

In the land that is plentiful

Where Your streams of abundance flow

Blessed by Your name

Blessed be Your name

When I’m found in the desert place

Though I walk through the wilderness

Blessed by Your name

Every blessing You pour out I’ll turn back to praise

When the darkness closes in Lord still I will say

Chorus

Blessed be the name of the Lord

Blessed be Your name

Blessed be the name of the Lord

Blessed be Your glorious name

Blessed be Your name

In the land that is plentiful

Where Your streams of abundance flow

Blessed be Your name

Verse

Blessed be Your name

When the sun’s shining down on me

When the world’s all as it should be

Blessed be Your name

Blessed be Your name

On the road marked with suffering

Though there’s pain in the offering

Blessed be Your name

Bridge

You give and take away

You give and take away

My heart will choose to say

Lord blessed by Your name

Every Praise

Chorus

Every praise is to our God

Every word of worship with one accord

Every praise every praise is to our God

Sing hallelujah to our God

Glory hallelujah is to our God

Every praise every praise is to our God

(Bridge)

God my Savior

God my Healer

God my Deliverer

Yes He is yes He is

(Yes He is yes He is)

(Ending)

Every praise is to our God

Every word of worship with one accord

Every praise every praise

Every praise every praise

Every praise every praise

Every praise every praise

Every praise every praise

Every praise every praise

Every praise every praise is to our God

 SERMON NOTES

And getting into a boat he crossed over and came to his own city. - Matthew 9:1

Jesus lives somewhere.

And behold, some people brought to him a paralytic, lying on a bed. And when Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, “Take heart, my son; your sins are forgiven.” 3 And behold, some of the scribes said to themselves, “This man is blaspheming.” 4 But Jesus, knowing[a] their thoughts, said, “Why do you think evil in your hearts? 5 For which is easier, to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Rise and walk’? 6 But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins”—he then said to the paralytic—“Rise, pick up your bed and go home.” 7 And he rose and went home. 8 When the crowds saw it, they were afraid, and they glorified God, who had given such authority to men. - Matthew 9:2-8

Jesus sees the good and bad of his home.

As Jesus passed on from there, he saw a man called Matthew sitting at the tax booth, and he said to him, “Follow me.” And he rose and followed him. - Matthew 9:9

Jesus see people differently.

While he was saying these things to them, behold, a ruler came in and knelt before him, saying, “My daughter has just died, but come and lay your hand on her, and she will live.” 19 And Jesus rose and followed him, with his disciples. 20 And behold, a woman who had suffered from a discharge of blood for twelve years came up behind him and touched the fringe of his garment, 21 for she said to herself, “If I only touch his garment, I will be made well.” 22 Jesus turned, and seeing her he said, “Take heart, daughter; your faith has made you well.” And instantly[d] the woman was made well. - Matthew 9:18-22

Jesus isn't too busy to see people.

And when Jesus came to the ruler's house and saw the flute players and the crowd making a commotion, 24 he said, “Go away, for the girl is not dead but sleeping.” And they laughed at him. 25 But when the crowd had been put outside, he went in and took her by the hand, and the girl arose. 26 And the report of this went through all that district. - Matthew 9:23-26

Jesus sees deeper than the surface.

And Jesus went throughout all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every affliction. 36 When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. - Matthew 9:35-36

Jesus sees with the lens of compassion.

Closing Worship Lyrics:

O Come To The Altar

Verse

Are you hurting and broken within?

Overwhelmed by the weight of your sin?

Jesus is calling

Have you come to the end of yourself

Do you thirst for a drink from the well?

Jesus is calling

Chorus

O come to the altar

The Father's arms are open wide

Forgiveness was bought with

The precious blood of Jesus Christ

Verse

Leave behind your regrets and mistakes

Come today there's no reason to wait

Jesus is calling

Bring your sorrows and trade them for joy

From the ashes a new life is born

Jesus is calling (Oh, oh)

Chorus

O come to the altar

The Father's arms are open wide

Forgiveness was bought with

The precious blood of Jesus Christ

Bridge

Oh, what a Savior

Isn't He wonderful?

Sing Hallelujah, Christ is risen

Bow down before Him

For He is Lord of all

Sing Hallelujah, Christ is risen
